Eyebrow Perfection

Perfect Brows by Sarah Jagger

Eyebrow Perfection

Ten Years making up celebrity faces has taught me that eyebrows are the most important part of the face – Great brows  frame the eyes, create more symmetry and make us look more polished. In fact, changing ones eyebrow shape can literally take ten years of someone’s face.

For many women, pencilling in eyebrows is an everyday chore and something that requires excellent eye sight, creative flair and very a steady hand.  Unfortunately even if you get it right, pencils can look too obvious up close and often wipe off during the day.

Few of us have perfect eyebrows. Most of us have one brow that is either higher or shorter than the other or one with an arch that’s a little flat. Semi permanent eyebrow tints not only perfect the shape but also add definition. My Eyebrow Perfection is for everyone: I fill in any sparse areas in the brow with microscopically fine strokes, which simulate natural hair and achieve results that look infinitely more natural than makeup ever could.

When complete brow loss has occurred (because of illness, stress or simply as a natural part of the ageing process), I do an Eyebrow Replacement-reconstructing each individual hair with a natural looking finish.

Semi permanent eyebrow tints like my Eyebrow Perfection are one of the reasons why celebrities look so well groomed. In fact, I was originally inspired to use semi permanent makeup techniques when a well known client of mine told me how fed up of she was of being snapped by the paparazzi when she was popping out for a pint of milk in the morning, makeup free.  She said “Life would be so much easier if your makeup stayed on me all the time!” Well, now it does – with eyebrows that are perfectly arched and defined, lip liner that makes that adds subtle fullness and soft eyeliner that makes the eyes look bigger and brighter.

The process is rather like a tattoo- except anaesthetic creams are used so there isn’t the pain normally associated with a tattoo. Mineral pigment is used rather than ink and the pigment is implanted into the shallow dermal layer, rather than deep into the skin. As the skin naturally turns over skin cells, the colour gradually fades , allowing my clients to come back within the year for a top up colour or perhaps a slightly different shape- After all, fashion changes as does the skin and muscle beneath it, which is exactly why I aim to create results that last little more than a year.
