Travelling the globe as a makeup artist and beauty reporter, Sarah has spent the last 20 years passionately researching the past, present and future of beauty.
Encompassing her knowledge of ancient beauty beliefs and new world scientific skincare discoveries, Sarah has become a media ‘go-to’ expert, reporting for British television’s ITV, This Morning, Lorraine and Channel 5 among many others. Sarah writes for many international publications, is the author of Magic
Makeup Tips & Techniques and the current global face of Tresemme commercials.
Behind the camera Sarah works on some of the world’s most famous faces and magazines including Vogue, Harpers Bazaar and Elle to create editorials and campaigns with acclaimed photographers and designers such as Juergen Teller and Vivienne Westwood.
Practically born with a paintbrush in her hand (she has two artists for parents) Sarah grew up painting canvases and helping her mother make skincare for the families’ organic cosmetic company. This founded a lifelong love affair with 3D canvases (the face) and studies into beauty’s timeline, which she has taught in her ‘history of makeup’ lectures at academies, and talks given at some of London’s most reputed galleries and museums
On a mission to delve beneath the surface of beauty, Sarah’s vast knowledge of beauty’s philosophy and psychology pave the path for an ongoing journey beyond beauty trends to the heart of what beauty really means to us all.
